Our clients are on a first
come, first served basis. Typically your system will be diagnosed
within 48 hours. Turn around time can be a little longer if
replacement parts need to be ordered, for example. Immediate service
is available for an
additional nominal charge providing that a technician is available.
For Notebooks or Laptops, please bring in your A/C Power
supply. For PC's, desktops, etc.., usually nothing else is needed.
No monitors, keyboards mice or power cords are necessary. However,
if you have Restore Disks you may want to bring them in with you. If
your printer has an A/C power adapter, please bring that in also.
Every
effort is made to preserve the data on your hard drive, however, we
cannot guarantee your data. The best action you can take before
bringing your computer in for repairs is to back up your data on a
separate medium. Should you elect, MicroTECH can back up your data
for you. We may also need your password(s) to gain access to your
programs or operating system.
Sometimes
the cost of a repair exceeds the componet value to make the repair
cost effective. We will help you make that determination. There is a
$40 minimum service fee. Should you decide to continue with the
repair(s), your service fee applies towards your repair bill.
